Microsoft System Center Synthetic Transactions Library: This Management Pack contains the components needed to create monitored objects for light weight Synthetic Transactions. A light weight Synthetic Transaction are typically a single action like "check a specific port" or a short set of actions like "Log into this database and check for the existence of a table." These Synthetic Transactions are run from one or more agents and remotely check a target which may or may not have a Health Service.
