Microsoft Key Management Service Management Pack. This management pack discovers and monitors Microsoft Key Management Service that is part of Volume Activation used to support centrally managed Volume License keys.

Summary

The Key Management Service (KMS) is one of two licensing options made available in Microsoft Volume Activation 2.0. The KMS is used to activate Windows computers. Each activation request is logged on the KMS host. The KMS Management Pack monitors those hosts for availability. This provides visibility into the activation traffic and the license status of VA clients on the network.
