Microsoft Windows Server DFS Namespaces Management Pack

Summary

This management pack is the common library for DFS Namespaces management packs. It provides objects used by version-specific management packs to monitor the health of the DFS Namespaces role service.

This management pack monitors events that are recorded in the System event log by DFS Namespaces. It also monitors the overall health of DFS Namespaces, and alerts you to critical issues.

Configuration

To monitor DFS Namespaces, this management pack requires other management packs from the File Services Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager 2007. You can optionally enable client-side monitoring on specific client computers. For more information, see the File Services Management Pack Guide for System Center Operations Manager 2007.
