File Server Resource Manager Service Management Pack Library

This management pack is the common library for the File Server Resource Manager (FSRM) service management packs. It provides information and objects that are used by version-specific management packs to monitor the health of the FSRM service (Srmsvc). The FSRM service supports File Server Resource Manager functionality for managing quotas, storage, and file screening, and the File Classification Infrastructure.

Summary

This management pack is the common library for the File Server Resource Manager (FSRM) and File Classification Infrastructure (FCI) management packs. It provides objects used by the operating system version-specific management packs to monitor the health of the FSRM and FCI role services.

This management pack monitors events that are recorded in the FSRM/FCI event log by FSRM and FCI. It also monitors the overall health of FSRM and FCI. It then alerts you to critical issues.

Configuration

To monitor FSRM and FCI, this management pack requires other management packs from the Windows File Services Management Pack. For more information, see the File Services Management Pack Guide for System Center Operations Manager 2007.
