This management pack is the common library for Services for Network File System (NFS) management packs. It provides objects used by version-specific management packs to monitor the health of Server for NFS.

Summary

This management pack is the common library for Services for Network File System (NFS) management packs. It provides objects used by version-specific management packs to monitor the health of Server for NFS.

Services for Network File System includes Client for NFS and Server for NFS; however, this management pack provides monitoring only for Server for NFS.

This management pack monitors events that are recorded in the System and Application event logs by Server for NFS. It also monitors the overall health of the service and alerts you to critical issues.

Configuration

To monitor Server for NFS, this management pack requires other management packs from the File Services Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager 2007. For more information, see the File Services Management Pack Guide for System Center Operations Manager 2007.
