Represents the Single Instance Storage role service for Windows Storage Server 2008 R2

Summary

This management pack monitors the health of the Single Instance Storage (SIS) feature of Windows Storage Server 2008 R2. Together with the Microsoft iSCSI Software Target 3.3 Management Pack for Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 and the File Services Management Packs for Windows Server 2008 R2, this management pack provides full monitoring of the File Services role for Windows Server 2008 R2.

Configuration

To monitor Windows Storage Server 2008 R2, you must install other management packs included with the File Services Management Pack and the Windows Storage Server Management Pack. This management pack has no specific configuration steps to enable monitoring. Some default settings can be changed as described in the Windows Storage Server Management Pack Guide.
