1. Introduction
===============
The Lenovo ThinkServer PartnerPack for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager(SCOM) program automatically
detects the managed servers of your ThinkServer server and provides detailed system information about the managed 
servers. The program also enables users to perform management tasks, such as restarting or turning on/off your 
ThinkServer server, accessing the Remote Desktop Console through Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), accessing the 
web based Lenovo ThinkServer System Manager and capture the latest crash screen if KVM service is enabled.
The Lenovo Partner Pack for Microsoft System Center Configurations Management (SCCM) provides centralized firmware
 management of Lenovo ThinkServer servers components, including ThinkServer System Manager,  ThinkServer Deployment Manager, 
BIOS, Windows Driver Package for Deployment Manager and Linux Driver Package for Deployment Manager etc. besides support alert notification.

5. Prerequisites
================
Before using this product, be aware of the following: 

- Hardware Requirements 
   - Lenovo ThinkServer server with Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v3 or Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v2 product family and above along with Windows Server 2008 R2/Windows Server 2012 R2 or above
   - 64 bit HW with 8GB or more RAM
   - 500 GB HDD
   - 1024 * 728 Resolution Monitor or Higher
   - TFT monitor for better resolution and width

- Software Requirements
   - Operating Systems: Windows Server 2008 R2/Windows Server 2012 R2 or above.
   - System Center Products: Operations Manager 2012 SP1
   - SQL Server: SQL Server 2012 R2 / SQL Server 2008 R2
   - SCOM: SCOM 2012 R2 / SCOM 2012 SP1
   - PowerShell 3.0 or higher should be installed on the SCOM Server
   - .Net 4.0 or above should be installed on the SCOM Server
   - JRE 6.0 or above should be installed on the SCOM Server
   - Web browser (IE 10.0 or later)
   - Microsoft Report viewer

6. Downloading the package
==========================
- Download the package from the Lenovo support web page.
- When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.

7. Installing the package
=========================
Once all the prerequisite checks and controls are completed, you may proceed with the Lenovo ThinkServer Partner Pack installation. In order to start with the Lenovo ThinkServer Partner Pack for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager installation, double-click on the Installer package and follow the wizard to complete the installation.
