CCRReplicationServiceFileSyncSeedingFailedE

CCRReplicationServiceFileSyncSeedingFailedE_2_Rule (Rule)

Knowledge Base article:

Management Pack
Summary

Microsoft Forefront Server Security CCR Replication service reports a unique message when the first replication (termed “seeding”) has completed.  This gives the administrator a signal that the data from the Active node has been replicated so the Passive node is ready to become Active.

Causes

Any reason already listed for a failed replication.  Replications which are “skipped” do not contribute to a failed seeding since they are legitimate scenarios.

Resolutions

Examine the Event log for details on the cause of the failure.  Follow the resolutions prescribed for the failure.  Wait for the next replication cycle to complete.
