Monitors the Other memory usage (\%) for a BIG-IQ appliance.

Summary

This monitor checks the current Other memory usage (in percentages) for a BIG-IQ appliance. If the collected value exceeds the threshold value consecutively for the specified number of times, the warning state is triggered.

Extended high Other memory usage can degrade performance, and the system may eventually become unresponsive or reboot.

Configuration

The following configuration parameters are customizable:

Cache Valid Interval Multiplier

Double value used for calculating the time interval for which cache is valid and result can be reused. If value is set to 0, no cache is used. Default value is 1.

Debug

When true, writes more information into event log. Default value is false.

Number Of Samples

Number of consecutive sample values considered before generating an alert. Default value is 3.

Port

Port for accessing the BIG-IQ appliance. Default value is 443.

Protocol

Protocol used for accessing the BIG-IQ appliance. Default value is https.

Source Select Filter

Used to define a list of properties to be returned by a BIG-IQ appliance for the specified iControlREST end-point. No default value is specified. Do not modify unless you understand the impact on the SCOM and HYCU SCOM Management Pack for F5.

Synchronization Time

Synchronization time in a 24-hour format. No default value is specified.

Threshold

The threshold value for usage percentage of Other memory. Default value is 90.

Timeout (s)

Timeout in seconds. This value is used for setting timeout value to access the BIG-IQ appliance. Default value is 270 seconds.

Update Interval in Seconds

Recurring scheduled interval in seconds used for running the workflow. Default value is 300 seconds.
