Monitors if there are some Nutanix virtual machines that are not compliant with the assigned HYCU Data Protection backup policies.
There are one or more virtual machines that not compliant with the assigned HYCU Data Protection backup policies. A virtual machine is noncompliant when its backup image is too old or the virtual machine recovery is estimated to take longer than allowed. In both cases, more data will be lost than tolerable in the event of a disaster (virtual machine failure).
A virtual machine is considered compliant in HYCU Data Protection when:
* Time period that has elapsed since its last successful backup is within the “Backup every” (RPO) setting (of the assigned backup policy).
* Estimated duration of the virtual machine recovery is within the “Recover within” (RTO) setting (of the assigned backup policy).
At least one of the following criteria in the assigned HYCU Data Protection backup policy is not satisfied: Recovery Point Objective (RPO), Recovery Time Objective (RTO).
To identify noncompliant virtual machines, run the “HYCU Data Protection - Noncompliant Virtual Machines” report. Take necessary actions to ensure the virtual machines become compliant.
To determine the reason of noncompliancy for a noncompliant virtual machine, log on to the HYCU Data Protection web user interface (see URL in the alert message) and go to the Virtual Machines panel. Then select the virtual machine and check its backup status and restore status.
