An error occurred while restoring the Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server Search (SharePointPSSearch) service.
To resolve this issue execute the following steps:
Look in the Application event log for related events and information. The Application event log can be viewed through the Event Viewer snap-in which can be found in the Computer Management console. The following task will start the Computer Management console:
Start Computer Management Console
Address the issues in Event Viewer and then repeat the restore operation if there don’t appear to be any image corruption related issues. If there are restore another image.
If necessary reinstall Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server, and then retry the restore operation.
