Summary

The connection attempt failed because the device connected to the port is not responding.

Causes

Hardware device connected to the port is not responding. Sample Event: The communication device attached to port %1 is not functioning.

Resolutions

In Control Panel, use the Add Hardware Wizard to troubleshoot the device error. If you cannot correct the problem, contact the hardware vendor.
