What Caused the Problem?
The Interconnect-battery canister has been removed from your controller enclosure. The Interconnect-battery canister is required for proper storage subsystem function, and therefore, you must replace the Interconnect-battery canister immediately. The Recovery Guru Details area provides specific information you will need as you follow the Recovery Steps.
Caution: Electrostatic discharge can damage sensitive components. Always use proper antistatic protection when handling components. Touching components without using a proper ground may damage the equipment.
Important Notes
If this storage subsystem is configured to use battery packs, the Interconnect-battery canister contains the storage subsystems battery packs. The purpose of the battery pack is to preserve cached data in the event of a power failure. Therefore, you should replace the Interconnect-battery canister as soon as possible.
If write caching on a logical drive is enabled, it will be automatically suspended until the Interconnect-battery canister is replaced and the battery packs are fully charged.
If this storage subsystem contains two controllers, Controller B will be suspended until the Interconnect-battery canister is replaced
Recovery Steps

2 | Reinsert the Interconnect-battery canister securely back into place immediately. | ||||||
3 | Wait 30 seconds, then check the status of Controller B in the Physical View of the Subsystem Management Window.

4 | Click the Recheck button to rerun the Recovery Guru. The failure should no longer appear in the Summary area. If the failure appears again, contact your technical support representative. |
