This monitor catches Xian events that notifies when the Virtual machine current connections has changed its state.

Summary

Number of virtual machine current connections is over/under threshold.

Over threshold: The number of current virtual machine connections is above the maximum threshold configured in Xian Network Manager 2012.

Under threshold: The number of current virtual machine connections is below the minimum threshold configured in Xian Network Manager 2012.

Causes

Over threshold: Increase of network demand to virtual machine.

Under threshold: Network demand to the virtual machine is below predicted values.

Resolutions

Over threshold: Evaluate nature of current connections to the virtual machine, reconfigure to fit network requirement or re design network to distribute demand.

Under threshold: Evaluate if configuration is not excessively limiting connection capabilities and reconfigure to fit network requirement.

Additional

Monitors the number of connections currently open on the virtual machine.
