Microsoft.ActiveDirectoryFederationServices20.TokenAcceptanceInvalidIssuanceInstantErrorMonitor (UnitMonitor)

Summary

A security token was rejected because the lifetime of the token exceeds the replay cache expiration interval of the Federation Service. If the same problem does not happen again within 15 minutes, the health state of this monitor will change back to a Green state. The alert that is generated by this monitor must be resolved manually.

Causes

The specified IssueInstant was before the allowed time frame.

Resolutions

To allow tokens for a larger timeframe, use the Windows PowerShell cmdlets for AD FS to adjust the value of the ReplayCacheExpirationInterval.
