Service Broker のアクティブ化により、メッセージ トラフィックに合わせてアプリケーションを動的に拡張できるようになります。一般的には、サービスへのトラフィックの変化を予測できない場合、またはサービスが受信するトラフィックに合わせてサービスのスケールを動的に変更する必要がある場合、アプリケーションでアクティブ化を行います。
Service Broker アクティブ化処理は、次の 2 段階で構成されています。まず、アクティブ化が必要かどうかを Service Broker が決定します。次に、アクティブ化を行うかどうかを Service Broker が決定します。内部のアクティブ化と外部のアクティブ化の処理は正確には異なりますが、どちらも全般的な概念は同じです。
この場合、Service Broker アクティブ化マネージャーは、アクティブ化が必要であると決定し、Service Broker アプリケーションを起動しようとしましたが成功しませんでした。
このエラーは、Windows アプリケーション ログに MSSQLSERVER イベント ID 9701 として記録されます。原因として、サーバーの起動時のメモリ不足が考えられます。これは、コンピューターの別のハードウェアまたはソフトウェアの問題に関連している可能性があります。
Windows アプリケーション ログを調査し、他の問題が原因で発生したエラーを見つけてください。
この問題は、他のメモリ不足の状況と同様に診断してください。重要度の低いアプリケーションを削除したり、仮想メモリや物理メモリを追加したりして、使用可能なメモリを増やします。
使用可能なメモリを増やすため、次の解決方法について検討してください。
ページング ファイルのサイズを増やします。
-g memory_to_reserve オプションを指定してサーバーを再起動し、SQL Server が SQL Server プロセス内でのメモリ割り当てに使用できるメモリ量を増やします。
物理メモリを追加します。32 ビット システムでは、Microsoft Windows Address Windowing Extension (AWE) を使用すれば、4 GB を超える物理メモリを追加できます。
