Questo processo di individuazione oggetti individua tutte le istanze del motore di database di SQL Server 2012 in esecuzione nei server Windows. Per impostazione predefinita, tutte le istanze vengono individuate e monitorate. È possibile eseguire l'override dell'individuazione per escludere una o più istanze dall'individuazione usando l'elenco di esclusione. Questo elenco accetta un elenco con valori delimitati da virgole di nomi di istanze o il carattere * per escludere tutte le istanze.
