Microsoft.SQLServer.2014.CollectionRule.DBEngine.XTPCheckpointsCompleted (Rule)

Collects the Windows "Checkpoints Completed" performance counter for SQL 2014 DB Engine merge operation.
Note that this rule is enabled only for SQL editions supporting Memory-Optimized Data (64-bit Enterprise, Developer, or Evaluation edition).

Summary

The rule collects the Windows "Checkpoints Completed" performance counter for SQL 2014 DB Engine merge operation.

The XTP Storage performance object contains counters related to SQL Server merge operation. The operation merges two adjacent data and delta file pairs and creates a new data and delta file pair.

Checkpoints Completed - Count of checkpoints processed by offline checkpoint thread.

Note that this rule is enabled only for SQL editions supporting Memory-Optimized Data (64-bit Enterprise, Developer, or Evaluation edition).
