Microsoft.SQLServer.2014.CollectionRule.DBEngine.XTPMergesAbandoned (Rule)

Collects the Windows "Merges Abandoned" performance counter for SQL 2014 DB Engine merge operation.
Note that this rule is disabled for all SQL Express editions.

Summary

The rule collects the Windows "Merges Abandoned" performance counter for SQL 2014 DB Engine merge operation.

The XTP Storage performance object contains counters related to SQL Server merge operation. The operation merges two adjacent data and delta file pairs and creates a new data and delta file pair.

Merges Abandoned - The number of merges abandoned due to failure.

Note that this rule is disabled for all SQL Express editions.
