Availability Replica Connection

Microsoft.SQLServer.Linux.Monitor.AvailabilityReplica.IsConnected (UnitMonitor)

This monitor checks the connection state between Availability Replicas. The monitor is unhealthy when the Availability Replica’s connection state is DISCONNECTED. The monitor is healthy otherwise.

Summary

This monitor checks the connection state between Availability Replicas. The monitor is unhealthy when the Availability Replica’s connection state is DISCONNECTED. The monitor is healthy otherwise.

Causes

The secondary replica is not connected to the primary replica. The connected state is DISCONNECTED.

Connection port might be conflict with other application.
Encryption type or algorithm is mismatching.
Connection endpoint is deleted or not started.
Transport is disconnected.

Resolutions

Check the database mirroring endpoint configuration of primary replica and secondary replica instances and update the mismatching configuration.
Check if the port is conflicting, and if so, change the port number.
