SQL Full-text Filter Daemon Launcher Service

Microsoft.SQLServer.Linux.Monitor.DBEngine.FullTextServiceStatus (UnitMonitor)

This monitor checks the status of the SQL Full-text Filter Daemon Launcher service. Note that SQL Full-text Search feature is not available in any edition of SQL Server Express, except SQL Server Express with Advanced Services. This monitor is disabled by default. Use overrides to enable it when necessary.

Summary

This monitor checks the status of the SQL Full-text Filter Daemon Launcher service, and generates an alert when the service is set to start automatically and is not running.

This monitor is disabled by default. Use overrides to enable it when necessary. Note that alerts are not generated when the service is disabled, set to start manually or not installed on the destination server. In this case, the monitor will always be in healthy state if enabled.
