The full-text catalog does not exist or the user does not have the appropriate permission to create a full-text index in the catalog.

Summary

The full-text catalog does not exist or the user does not have the appropriate permission to create a full-text index in the catalog.

Causes

There is no requirement to have a default full-text catalog. However, if no default catalog has been defined, you must specify a catalog name when you execute a CREATE FULLTEXT INDEX statement.

You must have CREATE FULLTEXT CATALOG permission on the database to create a full-text catalog, or REFERENCES permission to a catalog to create a full-text index in the catalog.
