The full-text catalog is offline. The full-text directory has been deleted, is corrupt, or the path points to a location that is not valid.

Summary

The full-text catalog is offline. The full-text directory has been deleted, is corrupt, or the path points to a location that is not valid.

Causes

The event might be caused by a bad restore operation or an attach operation that has a full-text catalog path that is not valid. Another cause could be that the catalog directory was deleted or directly modified by a user.

Resolutions

Drop and re-create the full-text catalog. You can also try running ALTER FULLTEXT CATALOG with the REBUILD option.
