AEM: Network Error

Microsoft.SystemCenter.CM.AEM.NetworkError.Alert (Rule)

This rule generates alerts when Agentless Exception Monitoring (AEM) encounters a network error while communicating to watson/oca services or a permissions error while trying to operate with the Operations Manager database on this management server.

Summary

AEM encountered a network communication error while communicating with oca.microsoft.com and/or watson.microsoft.com.

Causes

This alert indicates a generic network communication failure. This may happen due to several reasons. The ports may not be open for communication. The proxy may be misconfigured or this may be caused due to other network issues.
