Checks to see if Management Configuration Service successfully completed bootstrap procedure
The System Center Management Configuration Service has failed to start.
This monitor will generate an alert when it detects a failure event (29112). Using Health Explorer, investigate state change events on the Data Access Service connectivity first chance state” monitor to identify when this has occurred.
Green State: The local Management Configuration Service has verified it has started correctly. Event ID 29193 was detected.
Red State: The local Management Configuration Service failed to start. Event ID 29112 has been detected. An alert will be generated.
This can happen when:
The Management Configuration Service has a misconfigured Log On account.
To further investigate the issue, consider the following:
Review the Operations Manager event log for errors indicating problems with the System Center Management Configuration Service. Filter the event log a source of “OpsMgr Management Configuration” to search for errors.
Make sure the Management Configuration Service is configured with a valid Log On account. Validate that the Account has the correct access to the database. For more information about configuring the Account please see the Operations Manager Security Guide.
