This aspect contains the Reporting objects that you can monitor in the MDM Software Distribution Driver. These health monitors include the following detectors.

Green Health States

Yellow Health State

Red Health State

Reporting Process Status (Diagnoser)

Reporting process in the software distribution driver throws an exception

The reporting process throws an exception when an unexpected event occurs in the process. This event could arise for a number of reasons, such as an unknown download or installation code submitted by the device.

Reporting export to WSUS failed

Verify WSUS version (Resolution)

To resolve this issue, make sure you installed the correct version of Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).

Verify connectivity to the WSUS database (Resolution)

To resolve this issue, make sure you can contact the Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) database from the computer that is currently hosting the reporting process. The reporting export process fails if the connection to the WSUS database is lost.

Verify IP address connectivity to the WSUS database server (Resolution)

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Open a command prompt window.
  2. Ping the Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) database server name.
