This object monitors whether DFS Namespace Components Discovery failed. This object monitors all events logged by the DFS Namespace Components Discovery object.
This object monitors whether DFS Namespace Components Discovery failed.
This issue can occur for the following reasons:
If the account used for discovery does not have permissions to export DFS Namespaces configuration by using Dfsutil.exe.
If the account used for discovery does not have Write permissions on the folder in which System Center Operations Manager or its agent is installed on the local computer.
If the local computer is low on memory.
If the “DFS Namespace Discovery Account” is not configured, this discovery runs with the privilege of the default management server action account.
An Operations Manager administrator must configure the DFS Namespace Discovery Account Run As profile with a Run As account that uses a domain account that has sufficient permissions to accomplish the following tasks:
Export DFS Namespaces configuration
Write to the local folder where the System Center Operations Manager agent is installed
