This monitor checks whether the DFS Replication service on the monitored computer noticed an invalid configuration object while polling Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) for configuration information.
The DFS Replication service may register this event if it detects an invalid object while polling the specified domain controller for configuration information.
Event: 6002
Anti-event: 6014, 1004, 1104
The DFS Replication service may register this event if it detects that an attribute of the specified configuration object is invalid (does not have an expected value). This issue may be caused by Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) replication latencies, if certain parts of the configuration information in AD DS have not yet replicated to the specified domain controller.
Wait for AD DS replication to complete. The service will try polling again in a few minutes, at which time the issue may resolve itself. If the issue is resolved, event 6014 will be displayed.
Note: If the service is restarted before the problem is corrected, the success event will not be displayed.
If the issue does not resolve itself, check the object attribute being reported as invalid and compare it with expected values in the MSDN documentation. It may be necessary to delete the object and reconfigure it in AD DS.
