DFS-R: AD DS Configuration Duplication

Microsoft.Windows.FileServer.DFSR.DuplicateConfigInfoMonitor (UnitMonitor)

This object monitors the DFS Replication configuration in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), and creates a Warning alert if it detects conflicting or duplicate configuration objects in AD DS.

Knowledge Base article:

Summary

This object monitors the DFS Replication configuration in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), and creates a Warning alert if it detects conflicting or duplicate configuration objects in AD DS. It does so by looking for the presence of DFS Replication Event 6004.

Causes

An unhealthy state of this monitor indicates that DFS Replication found conflicting or duplicate configuration objects while polling AD DS. This can occur as a result of AD DS replication conflicts.
