Voor de Internet Information Services (IIS) World Wide Web Publishing-service (W3SVC) moeten zowel de Windows Process Activation-service (WAS) als de HTTP-service goed werken. Als de HTTP-service niet beschikbaar is, kan de W3SVC geen HTTP-aanvragen verwerken.
