Internet Information Services-websites (IIS) die gebruikmaken van HTTP vertrouwen voor hun beschikbaarheid op meerdere belangrijke IIS-onderdelen. De Windows Process Activation-service (WAS), de World Wide Web Publishing-service (W3SVC) en de HTTP-service moeten allemaal juist worden uitgevoerd. Daarnaast moet een groep van juist uitgevoerde toepassingen beschikbaar zijn voor de toepassingen van de website. Als een van deze onderdelen niet werkt, is de website niet beschikbaar.
Stop de WAS en start deze opnieuw.
Als u de WAS-service stopt, worden ook de World Wide Web Publishing-service (W3SVC) en andere services die afhankelijk zijn van WAS gestopt. Mogelijk moeten ook deze andere diensten worden gestart.
U kunt de WAS als volgt stoppen en opnieuw starten:
Open een opdrachtpromptvenster met verhoogde bevoegdheden. Klik op Start, ga naar Alle programma's, klik op Bureau-accessoires, klik met de rechtermuisknop op Opdrachtprompt en klik op Als administrator uitvoeren.
Typ net stop was /y bij de opdrachtprompt.
Typ net start was bij de opdrachtprompt.
Typ net start w3svc bij de opdrachtprompt om W3SVC opnieuw te starten. Start ook andere diensten die gestopt zijn toen de WAS werd afgesloten.
