Netlogon 服务负责公布 DNS 中 DC 的必需的记录并提供对 Sysvol 的访问权限。Active Directory® 目录服务还使用 Net Logon 在域控制器和目录客户端之间建立一个安全通道。Net Logon 服务包含有 DC 定位程序，可用其公布域名系统 (DNS) 内域控制器的可用性，以便客户端可找到离其最近的域控制器。
