Supervisa el estado del servicio de Windows para el Examinador de equipos
El servicio Examinador de equipos mantiene una lista de nombres de los equipos que están en la red y proporciona esta lista a los clientes. El servicio ayuda en el proceso de resolución de nombres y se usa para redes que no tienen el servicio Active Directory habilitado y para la compatibilidad con versiones anteriores con los equipos de cliente que ejecutan Windows NT 4.0. Si este servicio se detiene, es posible que los clientes de redes que no tienen el servicio Active Directory habilitado y los clientes de Windows NT 4.0 no puedan llegar a los equipos por nombre.
Un servicio se puede detener por diversos motivos, entre los que se incluyen:
Un administrador ha detenido el servicio.
El servicio detectó una excepción que provocó su detención.
El servicio no estaba configurado correctamente, lo que impidió su inicio.
El servicio no se pudo iniciar porque la cuenta de usuario asignada al servicio no se pudo autenticar.
El servicio se puede reiniciar usando el complemento Servicios al que se puede obtener acceso a través de la tarea de la consola de administración de equipos:
