O sistema sofreu recentemente um aumento significativo de atividade de rede e este pico fez com que o limiar fosse excedido, ou a utilização de rede do sistema tem aumentado de forma constante ao longo do tempo e, finalmente, atingiu um ponto em que ultrapassa o limiar.
A outra possibilidade é que a interface de rede está definida para renegociar automaticamente a largura de banda atual e a largura de banda que foi negociada automaticamente é inferior.
Para continuar a investigar o problema, determine o seguinte:
A interface de rede está configurada para negociação automática? Se assim for, a largura de banda mudou recentemente?
Os volumes de dados subiram de forma rápida recentemente ou o aumento tem sido progressivo ao longo do tempo? Se a regra de recolha deste contador ou as regras de recolha de bytes recebidos e bytes enviados estiverem ativadas, reveja os dados históricos deste contador em vistas ou relatórios.
Os maiores contribuintes para a utilização de largura de banda global são os dados que estão a ser recebidos ou os que estão a ser enviados? Os dados enviados provêm de várias origens ou aplicações ou provêm de um número relativamente reduzido de origens? Utilize os contadores "Leituras de E/S" e "Escritas de E/S" do objeto "Processo" no monitor de desempenho para identificar os processos que estão a enviar e receber grandes quantidades de dados. Além disso, ferramentas como o NETSTAT.EXE e o Monitor de Rede podem ajudar a identificar as origens e aplicações que estão a utilizar largura de banda.
As resoluções poderão variar com base nas constatações das ações de investigação complementares, podendo incluir uma das seguintes:
Reconfigure a interface de rede e/ou a porta do dispositivo de rede a que está ligada para garantir que a largura de banda de rede está maximizada.
Reduza o volume de dados que o sistema está a enviar.

Atualize a interface de rede, ou a rede subjacente a que a interface está ligada, para permitir o aumento do tráfego.
