在注册表中注册事件中指定的性能计数器提供程序时出现问题，或者用于维护性能计数器的注册表界面的完整性遭到破坏。

性能计数器基础结构使用注册表界面来维护系统上安装的每种本地化语言的性能计数器的列表。

在解决问题之前，查询性能计数器的应用程序将发现事件中指定的某些或所有计数器不可用。 Windows 系统监视器就是这样一个应用程序。

原因

性能基础结构的注册表项已被手动编辑，损坏了基础结构的完整性。

另一暴露性能计数器的应用程序已被现有注册表改写或者错误地更改了值。

Microsoft 提供的、用于安装性能计数器的 LODCTR 工具无法安装性能计数器提供程序。

解决方法

在 Windows® Server™ 8 系统上，可以通过在命令行处键入 Lodctr /R 完整还原注册表。
