AAD Connect Profile In Sync

NiCE.Active.365.AADConnect.Monitoring.4007.Profile.InSync.UM (UnitMonitor)

This monitor check if AAD Connect RunProfiles are in sync. With the powershell command 'Get-ADSyncRunProfileResult -RunStepDetails' the last sync time is retrieved and compared with the current time on the system. Here UTC notation is used. The metric returns the number of failed sync time intervals.

Knowledge Base article:

Summary

This unit monitor measures the synchronisation time of run profiles and converts it into a value that shows how many cycles behind it lags. Each interval cycle is 30 minutes.

In sync is recorded as a 0 value, lagging behind by one interval is recorded with a 1, while 2 represents a lag of two or more intervals behind.

An alert triggers on warning state when the run profile synchronisation starts to lag behind.
