This monitor checks the sending of emails from one defined M365 Mailbox to another (ExO).
This monitor focuses on measuring the Quality of Service (QoS) of an Exchange Online deployment. It also implements an end-to-end functionality check to verify mail flow between two Exchange Online mailboxes.
Metric 2012 tests for mail sending, while metric 2013 checks the receive status. Metric 2014 measures the time it took to receive a message.
Metric Value 0 indicates success, while 1 is an error. If there is a failure, the metric options indicate the following details:
Reason, Exchange Online Database Name, Recipient, Sender User Name and GUID of email.
By default, this monitor is enabled. An alert triggers if the test fails.
Please see the Alert Context or State Change tab for details.
Depends on the cause of the issue, which can be manifold. Please refer to the below section for "additional information".
This monitor depends on metric 20121.
