This monitor checks if a predefined user mailbox can receive emails from another M365 mailbox configuration (ExO).

Summary

This monitor focuses on measuring the Quality of Service (QoS) of an Exchange Online deployment. It also implements an end-to-end functionality check to verify mail flow between two Exchange Online mailboxes.

This monitor, metric 2013, provides the receive status.

Metric 2012 tests for mail sending. Metric 20141 measures the time it took to receive a message.

Metric Value 0 indicates a success, while 1 is an error. If there is a failure, the metric options indicate the following details:

Reason, Exchange Online Database Name, Recipient, Sender User Name and GUID of email.

Configuration

By default, this monitor is enabled. An alert triggers if the test fails.
