This monitor checks if an email sent from an Exchange Server mailbox to an Exchange Online mailbox is received.
This monitor focuses on measuring the Quality of Service (QOS) of a hybrid Exchange deployment. The monitor implements an end-to-end functionality probe to verify mail flow between an OnPremise mailbox (Exchange Server) and an Exchange Online mailbox.
It (metric 22071) also verifies that the Exchange Online Mailbox receives an email sent by the Exchange Server mailbox. The monitor Mailflow Send Check from Exchange OnPremise Server to ExO (Hybrid) (Metric 22061) sends the test mail.
Metric value 0 indicates correct receipt of the test email. Metric value 1 indicates an error. If there is a failure, the metric options indicate the following details:
Reason, Exchange Online Database Name, Recipient, Sender User Name and GUID of email.
Metric requires other metrics of the group to run. Please see "Configuration"
By default, this monitor is enabled. An alert triggers when the metric value exceeds a threshold.
The interval in seconds of this monitor must align with the following monitors:
Mailflow Send Check from Exchange OnPremise Server to ExO (Hybrid) (Metric 22061)
Mailflow Receive Check from Exchange OnPremise Server to ExO (Hybrid) (Metric 22071)
Mailflow Receive Latency from Exchange OnPremise Server to ExO (Hybrid) (Metric 22081)
Please see the Alert Context or State Change tab for details.
Depends on the cause of the issue, which can be manifold. Please refer to the below section for "additional information"
