SpO File Download Check (App)

Summary

This monitor measures the file download latency in milliseconds from a SharePoint Online site using the CSOM API.

The monitor implements an end-to-end functionality probe to check if a test user can download a file from a SharePoint Online Site.

Configuration

Configure the following in the m365mp_instance.cfg file:

• Name and credentials of the test users.

• SharePoint Site name and address.

Causes

The download latency exceeds the defined threshold.

Resolutions

For further analysis, please use the defined test user to download a test file from the SharePoint site.

Please verify against the performance graph to see if the alert value exceeds the baseline.
