Summary
The Routing and Remote Access service encountered an error while configuring packet filter.
 
Resolutions
  1. Open Event Viewer, and search for packet filter events. Follow instructions for fixing any errors you find.
  2. Stop Routing and Remote Access, restart the server, and restart Routing and Remote Access.
 
Sample Event
Sample Event: An error occured while configuring IP packet filters over %1. This is oftenthe result of another service, e.g Microsoft Proxy Server, also using theWindows 2000 filtering services.
