Disk Health - Critical

UIGeneratedMonitora64342bb86cc4dbaa73105451ebdcd3d (UnitMonitor)

At least one health condition on the disk has caused its health state to be changed to Critical. This can be caused by operational problems or excess heat. Review other alerts from this computer to pinpoint the exact cause. The event log specifies which disk by physical path and model.

Knowledge Base article:

Summary

The Critical flag is a setting WindowSMART uses to indicate that one or more Critical problems were identified on this disk. You should check for other problems on this disk, as they will specify, in more detail, the problem(s) identified.

Configuration

WindowSMART detected at least one critical condition on the disk.

Causes

WindowSMART uses a “worst status prevails” methodology for rating disk health. If a disk possesses both warning and critical problems, the disk will be flagged as critical because critical is a worse status than warning.

Resolutions

Unless the only critical problem is temperature related, you should consider replacing the disk. If the only critical problem is temperature related, you should try to determine why the disk is running too hot. Most likely the computer has a cooling problem.

Additional

Consult the additional alerts and events associated with this computer to determine the exact problem(s).
