Causes

File system utility FSCK started on the File system with the specified type in the log message. If the type is "Auto - Corruption" then the file system id specified is corrupted and needs immediate attention. If the type is "Auto - Log recover", then ufslog recovery failed and has triggered fsck on the file system. If the type is "Auto - Mount", then the file system had a marked superblock corrupted, and it is necessary for fsck to complete successfully before the file system can be mounted.

Resolutions

Mount the file system only after fsck completes sucessfully. This event has called home to EMC Customer Service or an authorized service provider. Use the text from the error message's brief description or the message's ID to search the Knowledgebase on Powerlink. After logging in to Powerlink, go to Support ] Knowledgebase Search ] Support Solutions Search.
