Causes

The DNS client is unable to contact a DNS server. This may happen when the data mover can not reach the peer DNS server for network reasons.

Resolutions

Check the data mover network interface and the route configuration. Use the server_ping command to troubleshoot the problem and check the availability of the DNS server(s) configured in the DNS client of the data mover (see server_dns and server_checkup commands).
