Causes

One of the cables that connect the backplanes on the back of cabinet is not detected.This may cause problems to detecting and monitoring hardware status.

Resolutions

Stop the BoxMonitor and reseat the commboard card. Run the "commpost" command to diagnose problems with control hardware. Check and replace any components shown as faulted by "commpost". Examine the cables connections on the back of the cabinet between the slots. Verify that all cables are connected correctly. Run the "/nas/sbin/ t2cab" command to make sure cabinet control hardware is functioning correctly. Replace the commboard if it still cannot be detected.
