Veeam VMware: Host Battery Status Alarm

Veeam.Virt.Extensions.VMware.VC4Alarm.HOST.BatteryStatus (UnitMonitor)

Knowledge Base article:

Summary

This monitor tracks the vCenter alarm that monitors the status of batteries.

Causes

This alarm will fire in vCenter, using thresholds defined via the vSphere Client. In general, these alarms will duplicate functionality already available in the Veeam MP, therefore this monitor by default will only set state in order to avoid duplicate alerting.

If this state-tracking is not required, either use an override to disable this monitor, or disable the vCenter alarm at source using the VMware vSphere Client.

Resolutions

For resolution guidance, see the associated Veeam MP alert on vCenter Warning Message or vCenter Error Message.

Use the Alerts View to see all current open issues for this object. Use the Events View to review any error and warning events for this object. Open a Performance View to see the performance metrics for this object and all contained objects. Open a Diagram View to analyse the relationships of this object to other components.
