Veeam VMware: Virtual SAN Health Alarm 'Site Latency Health'

Veeam.Virt.Extensions.VMware.VSAN.VMCCR.VirtualSANHealthAlarmSiteLatencyHealth (UnitMonitor)

Knowledge Base article:

Summary

This monitor tracks the Virtual SAN Health Alarm 'Site Latency'.

Causes

The Site Latency check analyzes the network latency between fault domains and the witness host to ensure that the latency stays within the recommended threshold. If the check displays a warning or error, this means that the site latency has breached the threshold. For more information on the recommended threshold values for a vSAN stretched cluster, see the Virtual SAN Stretched Cluster Guide.

For more information on the Stretched Cluster - Site Latency check, see this VMware KB article.

Resolutions

Configure your network to meet the recommended requirements.

For more information on troubleshooting Virtual SAN issues, see VMware Docs.

Use the Alerts View to see all current open issues for this object. Use the Events View to review any error and warning events for this object.
