Veeam VMware: vSAN health alarm 'Online health connectivity'

Summary

This monitor tracks the Virtual SAN Health Alarm 'Internet Connectivity Check'.

Causes

The purpose of the Internet Connectivity Check is to verify that the VMware website is accessible from the vCenter Server over the HTTPS/443 interface. If the check fails, this means that the Internet connectivity is not available.

Resolutions

Check your firewall configuration. The communication from your vSAN cluster towards vmware.com via TCP port number 443 should be permitted.
