Veeam VMware: vSAN health alarm 'iSCSI target service'

Summary

This monitor tracks the Virtual SAN Health Alarm 'Service runtime status'.

Causes

The purpose of the Service runtime status check is to verify the vSAN iSCSI target service runtime status. If the check fails, this means either that the vSAN iSCSI target service on an ESXi host is not running properly, or that the service is enabled incorrectly.

Resolutions

Try restarting vSAN iSCSI services on the host. To do that, follow the instructions provided in this VMware KB article.

Try disabling and then enabling the vSAN iSCSI target service again. To do that, run the following command: 'esxcli vsan iscsi status set --enabled=True'
