Veeam VMware: vSAN health alarm 'vSphere cluster members do not match vSAN cluster members'
This monitor tracks the Virtual SAN Health Alarm 'vSphere and vSAN Cluster Members Match vSAN'.
The situation when vSphere cluster members are not identical to vSAN cluster members could cause a number of cluster configuration operations to fail and a number of hosts in the cluster to have inconsistent state. The purpose of the vSphere and vSAN Cluster Members Match vSAN check is to ensure that vSphere cluster members are identical to vSAN cluster members. If the check fails, this means either that vSAN is not enabled on some of the vSphere cluster members, or that some of the vSAN cluster members are not managed by the vSphere cluster.
For more information on the Cluster Health - vSphere and vSAN Cluster Members Match vSAN check, see this VMware KB article.
Review the health check results to find out which hosts have mismatched cluster membership. To learn how to add hosts to an existing vSAN cluster, see VMware Documentation.
For more information on troubleshooting Virtual SAN issues, see VMware Docs.
